Ms. Erica Leonard, Principal
Erica Leonard is an experienced educator who has recently joined Copper King as their new Principal. Being a native of Arizona for most of her life, Ms. Leonard is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona (B.A.-Elementary Education) and Arizona State University (M.ed- Educational Leadership). She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, having served as a teacher, mentor teacher, literacy specialist, and Assistant Principal over the past 15 years.
As a principal, Ms. Leonard is committed to fostering a positive learning environment where students can explore their interests and develop critical thinking skills. She values communication and collaboration and believes that working together is the best way to ensure the success of everyone in the Copper King learning community.
Ms. Leonard believes that each child has the potential to succeed and is committed to creating an atmosphere where every student can thrive. She is looking forward to working with the school community to create an environment that fosters a love of learning, intellectual curiosity, and personal growth.

I am incredibly honored and excited to be the Assistant Principal of Copper King Elementary School. My name is Jennifer Copenhaver, and I am deeply passionate about education and the positive impact it can have on the lives of students and the community as a whole.
I am committed to working collaboratively with our talented staff, supportive parents, and, most importantly, our exceptional students to ensure that Copper King remains a place where every individual feels valued, empowered, and inspired to reach their full potential.
